The fires through Yarloop, Waroona and Peel region were devastating, not only to those people who lost their homes, property, pets and life stock, but also to the many businesses who make our Geographe region a great place for visitors to visit. A new promotion is up and running to encourage visitors to our Geographe Region to create a self-drive loop.
Our very own Australia's South West along with the South West Development Commission and City of Bunbury, has commenced the "Take the Loop" campagin to provide support for business effected by these recent bush fires. On Monday 20th November 2017, Catering Institute of Australia (WA) President Craig Joel and the State Council proudly announced the winners of the 51st Kleenheat Gold Plate Awards. The annual event acknowledges the outstanding quality and service provided by restaurants in Western Australia. 600 VIP guests, sponsors and participants united at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre for an action packed evening, where they dined on fine food and celebrated with colleagues, friends and family.
