Hon Colin Holt MLCHon. Colin Holt MLC
Member for the South West Region Leader of The Nationals WA in the Legislative Council Colin was first elected to represent the South West Region in the 2008 and commenced his term in May 2009. Colin is passionate about regional development and has used his parliamentary position to ensure a renewed focus on improved services and investment in regional Western Australia and the South West. In March 2013 Colin was appointed as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Training and Workforce Development; Water; Forestry before being appointed as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Regional Development; Lands in December 2013. Colin has served as Minister for Housing; Racing and Gaming during 2015-2916 and currently serves as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Housing, Racing and Gaming; and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Water; Sport and Recreation; Forestry. Colin is part of the WA Nationals team delivering Royalties for Regions projects that create jobs, stimulate the economy and make the South West a better place to live. |
Hon Mick Murray ALPMember for Collie-Preston
Mick Murray was elected to the Western Australian Parliament as the Member for Collie on 10 February 2001, and has been re-elected as the Member for Collie-Wellington in 2005 and Collie-Preston in 2008 and 2013. Prior to entering parliament, Mick was a mechanic, employed at a large coal mine near Collie for nearly 25 years and a vocal supporter for workers’ rights as the local union delegate. He has also served on the local shire Council and on a number of their committees. |
